Puzzled Slicci user

I have used Slicci pens for 15+ years and have loved them. This purchase has me puzzled. The ink won’t flow smoothly, the pen skips as a result. What have you done to the best pens I have ever used?

Hi Carol, We are sorry to hear your experience with our Slicci pens. All of our products are backed up by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. For more information please visit Or contact our warranty service here One of our representatives will reach out to you shortly.I hope this helps!
Favorite pens!!

These are my favorite pens. I picked one up at an independent art supply store and had to buy my next few online.

The tip is so fine but it isn't scratchy, it doesn't feel like an xacto knife cutting through paper (like other extra fine tips). The flow is so nice, this does mean that the ink will smudge if you drag your hand on it soon after writing, but once it dries (quick drying) I've had no issues.

My biggest complaint, and this is true of most extra fine pens, is that the pen body itself is so skinny. If I'm using this pen for over an hour in class taking notes, definitely doesn't feel great at the end. I've had to buy some of those pencil grips for children, they slide on easily as the pen is about the thickness of a pencil. I feel a little silly with the grips on but it has changed my life!!

Favorite pen, never stop making it!!

My daughter loves for math and science graphing

My daughter uses these pens every day for her STEM classes in college. The fine point doesn’t bleed or rip paper.

Great. Thank you !

Favourite Ink Pens

The Pentel Slicci 0.25 mms are my favourite ink pens to use. I write fairly small and so my a’s and d’s would end up being closed blobs with larger point pens. I can easily read all of my own writing when I use these pens. They are highly suggested, if you have any trouble reading your own writing.
p.s. I add a rubber grip when I use them, since the handle is fairly slender and it makes my big hands cramp. Almost any grip that I have tried easily fits on these pens.
