My Favorite Pencil Ever

I've used one of these pencils since the late 70s, and purchased a number of them. I just went looking to buy another one, or its replacement and found that that Pentel no longer makes retractable sleeve mechanical pencils. Please, please don't abandon your customer base. I'd like to buy several more.

Bring ‘em Back!

… bought one in late 70’s but after retirement I can’t find it. Now in my new volunteer job I need precision writing instrument again. I think I saw one on eBay but it was like $500+. #BestPencilEver!

Best Pencil Ever

I first bought one of these as a freshman in college in 1980 and I have carried one ever since. It is mechanically excellent, comfortable to use and stylish...elegant, even. My last one finally just flat wore out after more than 20 years of use. Please bring them back.

Best pencil ever made, please make more!

I have been using these pencils for 30 years. They are sturdy, write long and beautifully, don't put holes in your pocket, and are manufactured with watch-like quality. Apparently Pentel found a some boxes of them in a warehouse and decided to put them up for sale on Amazon, where they become a smash hit Imagine getting 36 reviews on a product on Amazon ... that has been discontinued! And the average review is a 4.2! Imagine any Amazon product where the top review is a professional who has been using the product since 1979. Do you think anyone is using an Apple product from 1979? These pencils are unreal. I bought as many as I could and continue to buy them off Amazon at a monsterous premium in shear fear the used supply may eventually run dry.

Please, Pentel, make more!
