    Wonderful pen, great ink

Great pens. I typically use the Pentel EnerGel roller ball pens.
    (BLN105, BL107 & 110)
I tend to use these pens for art and inking drawings. I have tested dozens of pens and inking. Even custom combinations of inks, nibs, cartridges. Nothing beats EnerGel ink.

The black is a very… super black. Nothing but India Ink even comes close. In fact I have started to prefer the "blackness" of EnerGel X. Flow is outstanding and controllable. With a 0.7 mm, I can typically achieve line widths of 0.3 or less. Despite the ink being low viscosity, I do not have issues with bleed. I can usually produce very fine sharp lines and no bleed through even with the lightest of paper. I do tend to run the pens dry quite quickly as well. But I tend to use them for shading and use them for lots of line work.

I also have found I like using the Pentel Brush Pens. The FP5M is my favorite and most versatile brush. I have used Winsor & Newton Series 7 ink brushes and the Pentel brushes definitely out preforms by a good bit. I found Pentel brushes hold a consistent point. In most cases I can't tell the difference between the Pentel brushes and good "red sable" hair brush.

I like using the FRH Aqua Brushes as well. I fill them with various washes of Speedball SuperBlack india ink. Fantastic brush, same as above.

Whether or not you even want to try mastering the brush, try it with THIS brush: it's so well-suited to the job that it makes learning far easier than you'd expect.

I test out new products from you guys, I can't wait to see your newest innovations.

    Keep up the great work!

    Best Pen and Ink Ever

I am extremely picky on pens. This has a great flow, solid black ink, no crappy ballpoint indentions, perfect pen. I found the first one ever I never bought another pen. Some have been given to me, but were cheap feeling and wrote without comfort. It lasts a good while and if ever breaks, affordable enough to buy a few and a box of refills. Well worth it and highly recommended.
