Make a point to thank our Veterans today
Today we remember the men and women who have fought bravely for the freedom of our country! Take the time today to handwrite a letter of thanks to a U.S. veteran who has made his or her mark in this world.
“Our troops tell us the most cherished items in the packages are the personal letters of appreciation from Americans. We welcome as many letters as you can provide. We accept letters year-round. It will only take 5 minutes out of your day to write a letter, but it will bring joy to our troops that will last a lifetime.” – Operation Gratitude
Make it Personal
Be creative! If you are comfortable with it, add some personality to your letter. Share a bit about who you are by including sketches or photos of your city, family, or pets. If you want to include your contact info, many military members will write you back!
Where do I send my letter?
There are many organizations that will get your letter into the hands of a veteran. In the past we have worked with Operation Gratitude and have provided their address below. Click here for more instructions and helpful information.
